This frog was introduced in the early 1990s from the Caribbean. It originally appeared on West Maui where its piercing call keeps people from a good night’s rest. Though small and cute, these frogs are no good to our environment; they have the ability to eat our native insects and possibly reduce their populations or cause some to go extinct. [ full story ]
