3. Records of the Hawaii Biological Survey
Since 1994, the Hawaii Biological Survey has published the annual Records of the Hawaii Biological Survey. The Records are comprised of short papers listing new state or island records of various plants and animals; along with longer papers describing new taxa or reviewing certain portions of the Hawaiian Islands' fauna and/or flora. Articles are now published online as pdf files once they have completed review and editing. The completed volume of the Records appear toward the end of the year following the one they record. Authors with new records are encouraged to submit manuscripts to the Hawaii Biological Survey for consideration of publication in the Records. Manuscripts are accepted at any time and will be published as quickly as possible.
